Wow. What a summer we've had! The middle of June was a trip to Vernal with my brother, Britton, and his family. The next weekend was the Hayden family reunion at our pond in Arbon, then the Davis family reunion last weekend (also at the pond). Both of them turned out to be so great! Tonight my family will be staying at our house since my youngest brother is going into the MTC tomorrow. I'm going to miss him so much! This is missionary number five in our family, so I should be an old pro, right? Wrong. It never seems to get any easier...
For now, the house is clean, the bags are packed, the food for our big family breakfast is ready to go, and I'm exhausted. Whew! Sometimes having company motivates me to get things done. I'm looking forward to a few stress-free days this week, though. Maybe I'll get some scrapbooking done.... Now that I have a blog, I take pictures of just about everything so I can document it--but I've obviously not been keeping up on things.
Then tomorrow afternoon we leave with Jake's family to spend the rest of the week at Bear Lake. Busy, busy, busy. Luckily, we have the best families in the world and love spending time with them!!!

Congrats on your brother's upcoming mission! That's really amazing that there have been so many missionaries in your family! I am quite grateful for the ones I met back in Missouri, and I hope that he will be able to give someone else that experience!
You are a busy family. Grant is looking cute as ever! I would still like to get our families together sometime, but you sound so busy that I'm sure it will still be a while before it happens. But, let me know when you're free!
Oh! Would you like to go with a group of friends to the temple on the 18th and then out for sushi? That might be a nice time! It's just girls, no babies or husbands.
You are a busy beaver. That's actually a very applicable comment because your HS mascot was a beaver, wasn't it? I hope you're having fun in Bear Lake. We didn't end up staying there but we did drive through for a raspberry shake and waved to you all as we headed back home.
