Topics to Avoid...

Have you ever noticed that there are certain conversation topics that are often better left undiscussed due to the passionate (and often argumentative) debate that will inevitably follow? Here are a few things that seem to generate a ton of friction in casual conversation, hence, here are the things I often steer clear of:
  • Prop 8
  • Emma Smith (well, only with certain people)
  • Politics
  • Immunizations
  • Christmas music

But, despite all that, I'm going to tell you that I am dying to start the soundtrack to my Christmas season!!! It's all I can do to wait until after Halloween, especially after the rash of snow we've been experiencing.... Yep, I'm "one of those" as many of you might call us, and I'm proud of it!!!

ME TOO! I've been trying to hold out too. Guess you caught me listening to Carol of the Bells though. Haha! See. This is why we made such good roomies! Haha! PS I didn't know Emma Smith was a subject to avoid...Maybe in Utah?...

Yes yes yes. I totally agree with those. Good heck, I didn't know me telling people that Addi's getting the swine flu vaccine would bring up so much heat with people. Sigh. I'll just keep some things to myself!
