Raspberries

Grant has figured out how to talk to us! Jake graduated last week and afterwards he raspberried at Grant, and Grant did it back. We had never seen him do it before! He usually doesn't do this unless we do it first, and as long as we keep "talking" back he goes on for quite awhile. He has to start with the sound "am" first, probably because it is the only way he knows to get his lips in the right position. He pokes out his lower lip and puffs up his upper lip and tries his darndest to make a buzzing noise, usually not getting great sound, but definitely producing a lot of saliva to spit in our faces. It is so fun to have a mode of conversation with him now!
