Quote of the Day
There are no facts, only interpretations.
Friedrich Nietzsche
What a load of philosophical garbage! Okay, that is a bit strong. But apparently, he's never touched a hot stove, never tried to float in the air without man-made conventions, never noticed that the sun comes up every single day. And just as there are facts in nature, there are facts found in and about mathematics, medicine, and (gasp!) even God and religion. I can appreciate his statement in many ways, especially when it comes to people and situations, but I think a person would be hard-pressed to make a statement so bold with no qualifications. Just a thought.
