We all scream for ice cream!

Jake and I got the most delicious ice cream for free the other day at Albertson's. It is Dreyer's Mint Cookie, and the best part is that it is slow churned. For those of you who are ice cream lovers (like me) but never eat it (again, like me) because two scoops are the equivalent of your entire day's worth of fat, this is the ice cream for you! Slow or double churned ice cream is used with skim milk (which cuts the calories and fat by nearly half of regular ice cream), but the extra time in the churner makes it creamy and rich. Your husband won't even know it is "diet" food! I've been eating slow and double churned ice cream for a few years, and it really does make a difference!

But you don't have to take my word for it....

I am going to have to try it. I love homemade ice cream, and nothing ever seems to be as good, but I will have to try it. Now if I could only get it for free too.
