I love this show!!! Jake and I went to see this with his parents at the Hale Center Theater in Orem last night. Overall, it was pretty good. I was the only one who was disappointed with Lina, and I think the reason is that the part is written well. Her dialect was all but nonexistent (I think she had about five words where she used it). At least she had energy! We all loved the tap dancing and musical numbers. When we got home, I had to pull out the dvd of when I was in it, and we watched the parts I was in (as Olga Mara and Miss Dinsmore, Lina's vocal coach). They were two of my all-time favorite character roles!Every time I watch live theatre, I get so homesick for acting. I hope that sometime soon I can do something around here, though I'm a little scared to try now that I'm rusty... Good, clean theatre is hard to find in the world, but if you're gonna find it anywhere, Utah is about the best place to be! In fact, after the temple, the theater was the first building Brigham Young wanted to be built in Salt Lake...
