This last week, Grant has started to sleep on his side. I lay him on his back, and then he twists and curls up into the cutest little side-sleeper. Awww! Just like me! He also has somehow developed a nightly habit of spitting out his binky and somehow shoving it between his neck and the mattress. I can't figure out how he does it! He can't move, and the limited movement from back to side just doesn't cut it. I need to set up a security camera in his room, I guess, because it is bugging the heck out of me. I feel so sad when I find it poking into his chubby little neck every night! Luckily it is a Soothie, so at least there aren't any stiff plastic parts...
Today we went to his six-month pediatrician appointment, and yes, he is still a giant. But the giant's growth spurts have definitely lessened since his four-month appointment. Here are the stats:
4 months
Head 17 in --40th %
Weight 19 lbs -- 96th %
Length 28 in -- 99th %
6 months
Head 17.75 in -- 80th %
Weight 21 lbs -- 91th %
Length 29 in -- 98th % (ten inches longer than he was at birth)
I am so glad he is slowing down! My muscles are strong enough now to carry him without too much strain, but my left arm always tingles. The sad part? He's starting to look more like a toddler than a baby these days. He looks like a one-year-old, and his stomach doesn't even stick out when he's laying down....

Grant is growing so fast. His charts remind me of what Parker's were like at that age. He was a big kid and still is but he has gotten really tall. It always made me happy to know that he was healthy and strong. Grant is such a cute kid and I'm excited to meet him some day soon.
