Lunch

Grant and I sat down for lunch, and he started off with some banana cheerios. After one or two, he noticed me eating a strawberry and couldn't tear his eyes away. I cut one up and fed them to him on a little fork, but after a few bites he was again disinterested. In fact, everything disinterested him except one thing: ranch style beans from our leftover Tex-Mex casserole. He couldn't get enough! I gave him every bean on my plate. Just as he ate the last one, he yawned a very satisfied yawn, and a few minutes later was asleep. I guess those beans really hit the spot! What baby chooses beans over strawberries and bananas? Go figure.

Good luck to me in a few hours when those beans have penetrated his system. I'll be visiting teaching all afternoon, too....

Cute boy! You need to tell me what to do with those beans because I just barely returned from Costco with a HUGE box of them. I thought they were black beans and didn't discover my mistake until I got home, seriously, just now. What a funny coincidence!
