My cousin's son, Grant (pictured here with my Grant), has cerebral palsy. He's an adorable 7-year-old who wishes he could do things all the other kids can do, and he desperately needs a new wheelchair. The one they have tested has a standing attachment and has worked wonders with his ability to stand on his own. I offered to sort of head-up a fundraiser to help his parents get the $10,000 the insurance won't cover, so I spent the day making a blog site about it.
I know times are hard for all of us, but if you could visit the site and spread the word about it on your blogs and other social networking accounts, it would mean the world to him and his parents. His mom teared up when she told me how amazing it would be if he could stand after he is baptized as his name is read in as the newest member of their ward.
Even $5 or $10 donations made by many people would add up quickly. I've always loved this quote from the Berlin wall, and I think it fits here:
"Many small people, in many small places, doing many small things, can alter the face of the world."
Thanks for your help!

I want to send a check and help your cause...I think it's great you are able to do so much. Who is Sara Davis? And where can I learn more about AFI...their website isn't giving any information besides their logo and goal?
